Unique Group, global innovators in subsea technologies and engineering, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Dale as the new Vice President for its Load, Lifting + Mooring division. Karl brings nearly 10 years of professional experience in the lifting and mooring industry, with a strong focus on heavy lift operations and complex ship mooring, serving both the offshore and defense sectors.
Karl began his career on the deck of a mooring support vessel, where he gained hands-on experience in deck operations. From there, he transitioned into a shore-based role, assuming increasing levels of responsibility, most recently overseeing a large team and managing offshore assets. Throughout his career, Karl has led the delivery of services to a diverse range of clients across Europe and has been instrumental in developing new business growth initiatives, serving as a technical subject matter expert (SME) on several large bids, and in implementing new revenue streams.
In his new role at Unique Group, Karl’s primary focus will be to integrate the company’s Buoyancy & Water Weights®, Lifting & Mooring, and cable services such as Mass Flow Excavation into a unified Line of Business under the Load, Lifting & Mooring Solutions (LLMS) division. He aims to streamline and integrate these services to offer a comprehensive solution to Unique Group’s global clients.
