Unique Group, one of the world’s most prominent integrated subsea and offshore solution providers, has announced that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Norway-based Scana Skarpenord. As part of the agreement, the two world-leading engineering and equipment manufacturing companies will collaborate to provide new product sales and services support to customers in the Middle East.
Established in 1970, Scana Skarpenord is one of the world’s leading suppliers of valve remote control systems for the shipping and offshore industries. The company delivers hydraulic and pneumatic actuators and complete VRC systems to customers all over the world. Scana Skarpenord is a daughter company of Incus Investor ASA, a Nordic industrial group with activities within steel, oil and gas, and marine.
The valve control systems are used in a variety of applications ranging from fixed platforms and FPSO’s through to gas tankers and heavy lifters.
