Unique Group’s Marine and Subsea division has signed an exclusive global distribution agreement with the Norwegian company Wågene Purifiner Technology AS. As a part of the agreement, Unique Group will house a central inventory in each continent and supply Wågene oil purification equipment to maritime customers worldwide. The company will also maintain an aftermarket stock of filter elements and spare parts.
Wågene Purifiner Technology AS has for more than 20 years manufactured and sold Purifiner oil purification equipment to the shipping, offshore and land-based markets worldwide and has delivered to more than 3,000 shipping facilities.
Wågene`s oil purification technique has received great recognition for its continuous oil purification system and has helped shipping companies save on operating costs. It is known that 80% of all accidents in an oil system are due to contamination by particles and water. Purifiner cleans the oil and removes all the particles as well as evaporates the water content including emulsified water in the oil, and with continuous use, it improves the life of the oil significantly.
