Unique System FZE, a Unique Maritime Group company, which is one of the world’s leading integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solution providers, has been appointed as the regional distributor for Nature Group in the Middle East and India region.

Nature Group PLC (AIM: NGR), is a leader in on- and off shore solutions for wastewater generated from oil and gas exploration and production facilities with over 25 years collection and treatment experience.

Both partners have been working on the market for offshore waste treatment in The Middle East for almost 12 months and are now able to officially confirm their relationship in an agency agreement.
Unique is a trusted partner of several marine and offshore majors in The Middle East and its excellent network and professional attitude has already delivered some very interested potential customers to Nature Group.

Also over the last 2 years the partners have built up a strong relationship during the execution of the project to build a Port Waste Reception facility for Oman Dry Dock.

Ian Huggins, General Manager at Unique System FZE said “The growing focus towards offshore oil and gas activities in several countries in the region requires a change in attitude towards waste management practices. Mandatory zero discharge policies and the minimizing of hydrocarbon impact in sea and the recycling of waste water on shore pushes interest for us in Nature Group’s products and services”.

Andreas Drenthen the CEO of Nature comments “Nature Group’s Compact Treatment Units have enabled a paradigm shift in the industry, with the capability of providing an environmentally friendly solution at a fraction of the cost to that of shipping the waste ashore.” “Nature Group is already selected in several tenders in the Middle East region for new offshore projects in environmentally sensitive areas and Unique System gives us the local expertise to secure this potential into contracts”, he added.
