UG: 40T Spooling Winches with Constant Tension

This Hydraulic Spooling winch is designed to rotate reels of wire, rope or umbilical. There are 2 removable shafts of 3” & 8” diameter that support the reel through a hole in the centre. The shaft acts like an axle. The unit can accept reels up to 40 Tonnes in weight and is powered by a stand-alone 75kW Safe Area Electric HPU with 5m Hose Sets to the Control Station.

The winch can accept reels of various dimensions. The end pedestal is Movable and can be moved along the base frame to accommodate any width of reel up to a maximum of 3000mm, and retracted to accept a minimum of 1000mm, with a maximum of 3000mm Flange Diameter.
