UG: Unexploded Ordnance Lifting & Safe Disposal System (UXO-LSDS)
The UXO-LSDS has been developed to support all those working in mine recovery to safely dispose of the UXO from the ocean floor. The system is based upon the robust Seaflex Mono Buoyancy Unit design, which has a proven track record over 20 years within the rigors of the offshore industry. This is now integrated with housing for as many 9l, 300 bar composite cylinders as may be required, plus a Sonardyne Lightweight Acoustic Release Transponder (LRT), to form the LSDS.
